We are very blessed this year with a "gift" of weddings. (Not sure what the collective noun is for a group of weddings -flock perhaps?) We have 7 weddings scheduled, so far, two on the same day. Here they are....

Ocober 4 at 2pm Daniel James and Lindsey Ratcliffe
We are sure that they will have a happy and memorable wedding here at our beautiful church of St Giles, and we wish them a long and happy life together.

SUNDAY JULY 27
Our Rector, Father Timothy, is leaving us to look after a new flock (of sheep) in Shropshire. His last services will be on Sunday July 27.
We hope as many people as can manage it will join in either the 8am or the 10am services on that Sunday
At 12 noon there will be a hog roast on the village green. Everyone is invited but tickets will be sold to cover the cost. They are 4 pounds each and can be obtained from Debbie Medlicott (790397) or Rhoda Miles (790565)
Children under 14 free! Soft drinks will be available.
Please bring your own chairs and/or rugs and wine or whatever, and let's hope the weather smiles on us. Everyone who knows Father Timothy and Rachel and would like to give them a good send-off is warmly invited, but the pig will only feed 100 people, so get your tickets asap!!
STOP PRESS.......There will now be two pigs as so many people want to come to the send-off!!!!
